About Tailored Dissent

Tailored Dissent was a social-justice apparel and accessory shop that operated from 2017 to 2020. As their main UI and graphic designer, I had my hand in a number of projects. On this page, I’ll be focusing mainly on my graphic design contributions. Below you find a selection of t-shirt and mug designs along with social media content. I also designed this company’s logo. T-Shirt Designs

Tailored Dissent turned trendy internet hashtags and social justice phrases into graphics that could be applied to t-shirts, mugs, stickers, and more. The below designs are a select sample of graphics I created for this purpose. 

Pronoun Mugs

The below pronoun mug series reflects the rise of gender discourse along with Tailored Dissent’s bold, chunky style. 

Social Media

Tailored Dissent’s bold style was made for social media marketing. Their content strategy was as follows: Turn popular social justice ideas into simple, colorful, attention-grabbing graphics so as to draw users in, then intersperse these graphics with mockups of their products. To the right are some examples of the social justice phrases I turned into sharable graphics.
